Stars put their best foot forward for charity
Posted by Lysandra on 05 Sep 2008 |

Eva Longoria Parker, Blake Lively, Jessica Simpson and many more Hollywood celebrities teamed up with shoe designer Stuart Weitzman to raise money for ovarian cancer research. Each star was given a plain white satin pump and asked to come up with their own design. “We were amazed — no one turned us down,” Stuart Weitzman told In Touch at the re-opening of his recently remodeled flagship store in New York. “It is cool to see how people’s personalities and tastes come out,” newlywed Joy Bryant, who created a graffiti-inspired heel, told In Touch. “Everyone is so different.” All of the shoes will be auctioned off throughout the month of September and 100% of the proceeds go to benefit cancer research.

'Gossip' Girls Lively, Meester Invade '30 Rock'!
Posted by Lysandra on 05 Sep 2008 | Gossip Girl

OMFG! Two of my favorite shows are about to collide -- and it sounds like it's going to have us ROFWL!

Gossip Girl frenemies Leighton Meester and Blake Lively have closed a deal to guest-star in a November sweeps episode of NBC's increasingly stunt-happy 30 Rock, sources confirm to me exclusively. The dynamic duo will play -- prepare to laugh 'till you piddle -- former high school classmates of Liz Lemon's in a flashback sequence that reveals a shocking and deeply ironic truth about Tina Fey's morally superior alter ego: She was a Mean Girl!

Gen. Ius.

The Gossip-inspired flashback coincides with Liz's 20-year high school reunion, which means we're also going to meet the adult versions of Meester and Lively's characters. (In a kicky twist, Rock execs are talking to Blake's older sis, Robyn Lively, about playing the latter part.)

C'mon, admit it: This is 10 times more exciting than Jennifer Aniston.

Gossip Girl Casts New Love for Serena
Posted by Lysandra on 04 Sep 2008 | Gossip Girl

Looks like Dan Humphrey may have some serious competition.

Inside sources reveal exclusively that the casting deals for two new Gossip Girl characters just closed tonight, including a love interest for one Miss Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively), and an O.C. star who's coming to the Upper East Side to stir up trouble.

According to insiders, John Patrick Amedori has been cast as Aaron Rose—a major character in the Gossip Girl book series. He's an artist who will serve as a new love interest for Serena in the current second season, and he has a philanthropic side which gets "S" all aflutter.

Meanwhile, Rufus better put a cute little designer shock collar on that unpredictable Jenny Humphrey, 'cause it looks like she's dabbling even deeper into the dark side this season. According to inside sources, the deal just closed a few hours ago for Willa Holland, best known as Kaitlin Cooper on The O.C., to come on the series for three episodes. She'll play Agnes, a 16-year-old model who meets Jenny while working for Blair's badass fashion designer mother, Eleanor Waldorf, and is anything but a good influence. (Maybe she's related to Georgina?)

Holly steps out with Lauren's ex
Posted by Lysandra on 04 Sep 2008 | The Hills

More drama on The Hills?

At EA Sports Freestyle's FaceBreaker Launch in Hollywood on Wednesday, Heidi Montag's sister Holly brought a date: Lauren Conrad's ex, Doug Reinhart!

"Yeah, we came together," Holly told Usmagazine.com. "We are just, you know, hanging out."

But Reinhart — whose relationship with Conrad ended on Monday's episode — downplayed any romance.

"There are no romantic sparks. She is a great girl. We just came out here," he told Us. "I am a gamer."

It isn't the only Conrad acquaintance Doug has hung out with since the two split.

According to a Hills trailer, he went on a date with Spencer Pratt's sister, Stephanie.

Miley Treats Herself To A New Mercedes
Posted by Lysandra on 03 Sep 2008 |

Miley Cyrus has treated herself to a brand new Mercedes convertible - even though she's too young to drive it.

The 15-year-old pop sensation doesn't turn 16 until 16 November (08) but she's already bought herself a gift - a $75,000 (£40,540) white Mercedes-Benz CLK 550 Cabriolet.

A source tells In Touch magazine, "Miley wanted special options like parking assist and a cream-coloured leather interior, so she ordered the car early.

“She’s telling everyone that she hopes to get a car when she turns 16, so when it comes, she can say it was a surprise from her parents.”

Is Miley Cyrus Dating Cody Linley?
Posted by Lysandra on 03 Sep 2008 | Miley Cyrus

Hollywood.TV's cameras were celebrating young love when they spotted Miley Cyrus and Cody Linley in this exclusive clip.

The Hannah Montana star was out on what looks like a hot date with her Hannah Montana co-star. They spent the day together at his house and he drove her home at around 10pm. Are they just friends hanging out or is there romance in the air?

Cody is about to become the youngest contestant on Dancing with the Stars at the tender age of 18. He's been paired with Julianne Hough. Maybe Miley can help him practice. Let's hope he's not getting too distracted.

Heidi And Spencer Duke It Out In New Video Game
Posted by Lysandra on 26 Aug 2008 | The Hills

The hottest couple on "The Hills" can now face off in a video game boxing ring.

Spotting a previously unknown overlap between fans of "The Hills" and fans of boxing video games, publisher Electronic Arts is letting a virtual Heidi Montag lace on some gloves and beat up Spencer Pratt. Or vice versa.

The cartoonish, celebrity near-death match is just one possible matchup in "Facebreaker," an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 boxing game that's been designed for laughs. No, it's not a serious boxing game, despite earlier reports that one of the other boxers in the game is none other than Kim Kardashian. Limbs contort. Faces stretch. And opponents go flying across the ring.

What exactly is going on here?

EA — which was once only known for being the powerhouse studio behind "Madden" and lots of movie games — has been promoting a newfound creative spirit. An original outer-space horror game called "Dead Space" is now an EA flagship title for the fall, as is a near-future first-person parkour game called "Mirror's Edge." But that angle doesn't sell to everyone. And so to the rest of the possible gamers out there, it should be noted that EA is loading its games up with famous and nearly famous people playing themselves. There's Heidi, Spencer and Kim boxing. There's Fergie, Avril Lavigne and 10 other stars competitively canoeing and flying jet planes in EA's Wii-only fall release "Celebrity Sports Showdown."

The "Facebreaker" games have a feature that allows any famous person to face off. Non-famous people can compete too. The games support camera attachments for the Xbox 360 and PS3 that can be used to capture a face and put it on an in-game boxer. So Heidi doesn't have to beat up Spencer. She could beat up ... you.

"Facebreaker" is the first game in the new EA Freestyle line. The Freestyle sports games are supposed to be more fun and less complex to control than standard sports video games. Their development was inspired by the crossover success of the simple and fun "Wii Sports," though "Facebreaker" also clearly draws inspiration from previous cartoonish boxing games such as "Mike Tyson's Punch-Out" and "Ready 2 Rumble."

"Facebreaker" ships for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 3.

Posted by Lysandra on 25 Aug 2008 | The Hills

Heidi Montag is working up a sweat in her new video for her single "Overdosin'."

Rocking big hair, The Hills star, 21, channels an 80s aerobics instructor as she dances around in lycra, legwarmers and a sweatband.

(Lyrics include: “Don’t care what you put me through/I can’t get enough of you.”)

Look for Montag to write more songs about Pratt.

When Seacrest asked if a wedding could possibly inspire her next single, she joked, "I’m waiting for the ring to make that song."

Meanwhile, Montag and Pratt said they would love to take over the MTV hit next season if Lauren Conrad decides to step down.

“I think that maybe Lauren is tired of [being on the show], but we’re just beginning,” she told Seacrest. “We’re not even remotely sick of it.”

Spencer says he’s praying for Lauren
Posted by Lysandra on 16 Jul 2008 | The Hills

Lauren Conrad’s clothing line has reportedly been dropped by Los Angeles boutique Kitson, but her “Hills” co-stars are sending her good thoughts.

“We pray for her,” Spencer Pratt told “Access Hollywood’s” Dish of Salt, Laura Saltman, at the E3 Media & Business Summit in L.A. on Wednesday.

As for Spencer’s fiancιe, Heidi Montag, she said her own line is still going strong in stores.

“It’s the number one selling clothing line so it’s going well,” Montag told Laura. “(It’s sold in) Kitson and all the Anchor Blue stores.”

Pratt and Montag turned up at E3 to promote Ubisoft, where they played Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party.

The couple who are used to having a gaggle of paparazzi in tow, turned up without the entourage, who they admitted to missing.

“They weren’t allowed in,” Pratt said. “We wanted to get ’em in, but I guess you need exclusive E3 badges.”

Another person who didn’t make the event was Megan McCain, Montag’s friend and daughter of Republican Presidential hopeful John McCain, with whom Montag was seen dining with at the Ivy restaurant on Tuesday.

“She actually wanted to come here and dance with us… And her dad is trying to get off the campaign to get on his butt,” Pratt added, referring to a Wii Fit video game, which a person has to control via their derriere.

Speidi brings out the big guns
Posted by Lysandra on 18 Jun 2008 | The Hills

Reality TV stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have dropped some serious cash on some weapons a new report from In Touch Weekly claims. In a report due to hit newsstands today the magazine will report the obvious and opine that Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are the couple that America loves to hate. It appears that they will bring out the big guns to make certain for their safety.

But while that playful animosity has bought Spencer and Heidi their own 15 minutes of fame and made them a fortune, it has also brought them some negative attention. “Spencer does have a few enemies,” one pal explains to the magazine.

“He’s alienated a lot of people now that he’s rich and famous.” As Perez Hilton reported on his blog, Spencer, 24, and Heidi, 21, have been concerned about their protection. So the couple visited the Martin B. Retting store in Culver City, Calif., on June 7 and spent more than $10,000 on guns to arm themselves.

They purchased two Benelli semiautomatic M4 tactical shotguns, two Wilson close quarter combat .45-caliber pistols and one Scout semiautomatic rifle. “They wanted the exact guns that the U.S. Delta Force uses,” a friend explains. Spencer wants to be prepared for anything,” says the friend.
